Thank you and come again soon to everyone who came out last night. I know Adriana appreciated us all gathering in her name and eating cupcakes and olives. You are all totally awesome for not trashing my double wide.
I didn't take any photos except for one of the rarely seen AmandaJaneAcabra. Elusive and much sought after, it appeared suddenly, made us all die of laughter and then mysteriously vanished.
 but I gots proof!

ok. booked my ticket to see DM in NYC early August. I know, I've been burned. But this love is too great not to give it one more chance. And anyway... NY! Although in August. A parasol is not completely out of the question.
And pretty sure I'm about to be employed. Which should help with my scheming and such. Plotting is more productive when one can throw a few Euro at it, mostly.

Hey. HEY. Some of you out there need a pep talk, like ya read about. in books. Here it is: This is not so bad. I know it seems like Super Suck, and it is, but there are far worse things that could happen. Stop trying to be so fucking perfect all the time. Things fuck up, stuff gets messy, its ok. We are in this together. You are not a fuck up and nothing is ever always peachy. Life is stupid but sometimes it is also awesome and this is just a temporary thing. Don't forget all the good times and other things you still want to do. This may be really overwhelming right now, but let's have a drink, maybe do some camping and get some perspective. Things change and this is not forever. Don't become a robot and think there is only one right answer. Look outside. It's raining, it's beautiful. We will kick ass another day.You don't have to do this alone.
Turn up some tunes, because even Abe enjoyed the occasional killah break beat. |

Haben Sie eine Frage?
yes I was on that plane that had the emergency landing. Stayed in Chicago at a really pimp hotel and went to the Turkish Festival. yes the DM show was canceled due to cancer, fuck cancer might I say, so I took the train to Leipzig for Treffen. TREFFEN FTW. Having way too much fun. Have great pics of Feindflug and Current 93. Have no idea how I am getting home. And damn packing for DM is totally different than packing for WGT. Hellooo shopping. Time is almost out. Everyone stay hydrated and what not. |

I hate bebe. I know you do too. so what if I look great in that crap? still crap. but the new military stuff is off the chain.
However. this does not do it justice at all. The military stuff is all in khaki colors (and black). I appreciate the effort. No. I do not. This photo in particular lacks cohesion, composition, focus and any sense of story. Unless one is supposed to think this lass is just waking up in her silky pj's, fake turquoise ring and last years sunglasses and crawled out of a straw yurt. Were I her, I would be looking for some good coffee right about now and a head to bust over the fact that the only shoes that go with this ensemble have marabou feathers glued to the toe. ------------------ It seems like I only post stuff lately when I'm too overwhelmed to do anything else. I need to clean, pack, research and figure out when I can check in for the plane. I need to move some stuff, go through the iPod selection, finish this package for Sister Mary Joseph and about 30 other things, including get a haircut. Why am I looking at the onlines? |

Thought you might find this interesting:
Ok, years and years and years ago, my brother and I used to play with a Babe Ruth signed baseball my granma had in St. Louis. One year she sent my brother a letter with two baseballs, a Tony the Tiger thing and some random Pete Rose (or whomever) off the shelf ball from Toys'R'us. In the letter she asked if he had the Babe Ruth baseball. No he did not. He thought it was lost in the mail. or the kid down the street took it. or he left it out in the rain. something. 35+ plus years of this. Him waking up in the night wondering what the heck he did with that ball.
So I'm cleaning out her place and unpacking kitchen stuff she hadn't looked at since 1982 and what do I find in the sugar bowl? A burlap wrapped, shoe string tied package with a ball in it.
Yup. I found it. Woman had it hidden in the sugar bowl for 35 years. -------------------------------------------------- I also have a pair of very heavy cuff links made by Jo Michels. The links are deco era and WELL made. Jo Michels silver was produced in Chicago around 1918-1935. These were obviously my great grandfathers. Orville Ferguson. The bank robber. I also have some of his poetry he wrote in jail. It's not half bad!

so after photos last night we went to Wild Grape. I think you should go. The wine the server selected was Auld Soul and was rather good. I was either gonna play it safe with a shiraz or go super Andy Bell fabulousness with blood and rainbows with the lavender vanilla "martini" (why the hell do folks insist on calling these vodka infused things martinis? The only thing they have in common is that they both come in a glass.) but he sold me on the wine instead and I recommend it to you. And also get the fish. bomdiggidy.

Took it apart and put it in the sun immediately, but no dice. So I gots a new phone with no contacts. Message me if you would like me to drunk dial you in the future. [Apr. 27th, 2009|01:30 pm] |
You don't care but I just took two of my finals (a week early) so I can go to Hawaii on Wednesday. I aced em. I know this because I handed them in to Sam Dunn who looked them over and then we talked shit about Soderbergh for like, ever. I have German tomorrow. It's still freakin cold out there. I've had a blistering headache since last Thursday and now have aspirin. My best friend is still out of town and I'm reduced to texting him nine or eleventy times a day for laffs.
The iPod story: So I bought and ipod. yes. I did. stop sputtering. I got it from this shitty refurb place (do not recommend). It was an old 30gb thinger and I plugged it in and it was acting funny. So I went down to the confusing and friendly Mac store and it was busy and I was intimidated and I got a usb power adapter and made an appointment to see a (hopefully) cute tech who could teach me how to avoid stupid. ipod stupid. they don't do life stupid. zu spät. and it turns out the thing is fubar fer shur and here have a brand new ipod 80gb, we don't make that other thingy anymore and have a nice day! I HEART YOU MAC STORE. I HEART YOU SOOO SO SO MUCH. fuck iTunes tho. no I mean it. So now I'm finally a real person with a fully loaded iPod and can carry every single Andrew Sega song with me anywheres I go. I have every CTRL, Low Technicians, Alpha Conspiracy, Iris and remix all right here. All. And I ordered a skinit so it will soon be all Hydra'd and Sega'd up, yo.
the back of my ipod will be this. will now take nap then finish Ashe photos.

Hey kids,
Heidi just swept Sable off to the ER for possible food poisoning. Send some good vibes his way, mmkay? Sable is the only guy who makes the dry heaves look attractive, but still. is not good. ----------------- Otherwise things are quiet at Graveside Manor. Beautiful day out and JT got me away from this paper long enough to replace my keyboard and get some rum. Mojitos were over sugared, just the way I likes 'em. ----------------- Shot Ashe in the face. I'll put up a whole gallery soon, but I really need to get back to this paper.

Holy cow I am having the best day ever. Morning was good with the new CTRL. Drive in was gorgeous (riverhead turned UP). Boss is currently playing Wrath with the knob at 11. I am editing the stuff I shot last week. Coffee is bom-diggity.
not to sound goth or anything, but it seems clear that I will be diagnosed with cancer. days like this don't just happen... do they? ------ great. now he is playing Purple Rain. there are few things that cannot be improved by Iris and Prince. *I would die 4 U booty shake* |

| | Kid Cudi vs. Crookers | ] | My new Furla Giselle (Spring '09) finally came in the mail, and it is a thing of beauty. It is not my Fendi, but hot dang if it ain't a closeclose second. Big enough for my school books and water and I love it, I do. My new shoes got new soles (Charles David may know how to design a shoe, but could they put something other than cardboard on the bottom? please?) and I could practically go jogging in these babys.
Passport office approved my passport, even if my birth cert was "too old" and it should be here in two weeks.
Internship has reduced my depression to a mere concern about making rent. The grass is green and the sky is blue again. Can't do anything due to lack of funds, and it is soooo worth it. Fuck you software, test yourself, bitch.
Fine Pele. I booked my damn ticket to Germany. I HAVE AN EXTRA TICKET TO DEPECHE MODE. if only I had a sexy friend to go with me... Rachel? Scotty? Erin? get on this bitches. I don't got all day.
Best be gettin' ready. The Bishop is warshin' mah feets tonight. Yes, am serious. Like serious like not cancer 'cause eww so clichè. -------------- Ha! I just realized I booked this trip as Dr. Nissa. *snortles* |

[Mar. 26th, 2009|11:50 am] |

Since my last day here is tomorrow (was this a test of will, Lord? really? I mean... really?) I have put out a bunch-o resumes and whatnot. But I did call about an internship at a local (oh-la-la type) advertising joint and they would like to meet me tomorrow. Thank god. It would be sooo dang nice to do something I liked, for a change. I suppose it doesn't help that I have been watching The Corporation lately. Nothing like a financial meltdown and some good ole corporation rage to fuel the fuck it fire.
