Been putting off looking at the St. Louis photos because I don't wanna.
But got to them today since the fam is foaming at the mouth.
The trip was unusual, but here is a nice story (still makes me giggle):
We went up to the park for the ceremony and it is located in a tributary.
Walking around Mom and Dad were talking to Zion and telling him about the fish.
There are places the water is so full you could practically walk across the water on their backs.
anyTROUT, at the end of the path, Zion is looking at my camera and asks for it (this job calls for PERMISSIVE AUNTIE)
So I had him my Nikon and he points it at the water and says, "Cheese Fish!"

Finally catching up on the internet in between cleaning and homework.
Damn you people are interesting.
This is the first weekend I've been home for what seems like ages and I feel positively boring next to y'all.
I don't internet when I'm away, mostly because I feel like I should live LIFE not live internet when I'm not at home.
But good lord, I missed MUCH.

| A tale of woe and triumph |

Meet Chloe.
She's about 7 weeks old. She came to me via a sad tale. She was
a runt of a litter, or so I understand, given to a young man who was unable
to care for her as she was born a bit ill. Ok, she had an owie bum.
Probably from the time she was born. Painful to eat and whatnot.
She was also a bit lifeless, dehydrated, malnourished and had very little energy.
But not today. Today she is a playful, box trained healthy kitten who is a dark dark grey.
She needs a good home. Someone to play with. Someone who isn't out of town
practically every weekend. And she needs a ton of love. She has some catching
up to do and could use all the attention you can throw at her.
She is free of kitty luekemia, FIV, parasites and is box trained.
She's also energetic as hell and comes with her own box, toys, food and a bed.
She loves to play with string and anything that rolls.
And also she likes synthpop :)

I think I may have used all my luck for this year already.
So I was on my way to Adriana's Monster Baby Party on my bike.
Somewhere between here and Liberty Park, I lost my phone.
Musta bounced outta da basket er somthinruther.
Bummed. Phone gone. Called it on Mandy's phone at the park and it went right to voicemail.
I figure it's a write off.
I go to Target on the way to Sunday dinner and get a new one.
BUT WAIT!
I get to Mums and Daddums and they say Jono has my phone.
Some guy picked it up off the street, called my dad to return it, they couldn't do it immediately,
so he called The Captain who went to get it. Jono then buzzes himself into my place and leaves it on the desk.
Like nothing happened.
Like easy peasy lemon squeezie.
Can't really express how grateful I am on this one.
Words don't really do it justice. |

Deviant UK is a bundle of fun, no? Been awhile since anyone hit on me quite that hard.

sound issues aside, these boys work hard to give us a good time. Redemption should go Treffen, right? right.
Deviant UK all hopped up and ready to make some bad decisions. And now I know what a "vacuum lock" is. Through discussion, not practice.

I just passed my Apple Certified Expert test for Final Cut Pro.
The last two weeks I have rocked it out with moving, painting, going to NYC to see DM (and Alex and his gorgeous wife) and still gettin' er done with that test.

could not have done it without The Captain.
and possibly I should learn to, you know, prioritize. |

Which should help with my scheming and such.
Plotting is more productive when one can throw a few Euro at it, mostly.

Hey.
HEY.
Some of you out there need a pep talk, like ya read about.
in books.
Here it is: This is not so bad. I know it seems like Super Suck, and it is, but there are far worse things that could happen.
Stop trying to be so fucking perfect all the time. Things fuck up, stuff gets messy, its ok. We are in this together.
You are not a fuck up and nothing is ever always peachy. Life is stupid but sometimes it is also awesome and this
is just a temporary thing. Don't forget all the good times and other things you still want to do.
This may be really overwhelming right now, but let's have a drink, maybe do some camping and get
some perspective. Things change and this is not forever. Don't become a robot and think there
is only one right answer.
Look outside. It's raining, it's beautiful. We will kick ass another day.You don't have to do this alone.
Turn up some tunes, because even Abe enjoyed the occasional killah break beat. |

yes I was on that plane that had the emergency landing. Stayed in Chicago at a really pimp hotel and went to the Turkish Festival.
yes the DM show was canceled due to cancer, fuck cancer might I say, so I took the train to Leipzig for Treffen.
TREFFEN FTW.
Having way too much fun. Have great pics of Feindflug and Current 93.
Have no idea how I am getting home.
And damn packing for DM is totally different than packing for WGT. Hellooo shopping.
